A brave Scottish general named Macbeth receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne for himself. He is then wracked with guilt and paranoia.
This play was another play by William Shakespeare which I didn’t care about and which I didn’t like at all. To be fully honest I DNF-ed this one after reading like 56% of it.
The plot here was very typical William Shakespeare plot. Which normal ends up with me not liking it just because I don’t like plays about kings, queens and royal family in genera.
The writing style here was the best thing in this play because it gave the biggest William Shakespeare vibe which I enjoyed a lot.
This play was written by William Shakespeare so you know that there will be a dramatic death in here somewhere. The death here wasn’t half bad but still it was a stretch and it really made me laugh when it happened.
The characters here are super unrealistic and they are really the definition of someone being very very annoying.
I Give Play 1 / 5
