“Filling Station” By Elizabeth Bishop Review

This poem is about Bishop’s optimistic view of life despite her own difficulties. She realises that beauty can be found in even the most banal and mundane things

This poem was for the most part okay, it wasn’t bad nor was it something extraordinary. For the most part this poem feels like the generic poem.

The writing style here, is bad for whatever reason. It didn’t go well with me for whatever reason. It for the most part it felt that the writing style here was the same writing style which you can see in any other average poem.

The plot here was so boring for the most part. It had some very good parts but for the most part it was boring.

I give this poem 1 / 5
