A short term investment is basically an investment that you will quickly and easily convert to cash. And this cash is the money you might need or want back in the near future. This short term investments might come from a money market account or high-yield savings account or million other short term investments methods.
However if you are planning to invest I the short term the stock market maybe won’t be a so good idea as some of you might think. Because the stock market is a better idea to invest in if you plan to keep your money there fir at least 5 years I would say. But this doesn’t mean that the money need to sit there for this whole time. Because there are several ways to help your cash grow in a limited time period like short term investments.
