This poem is about being “inspired” by the suffering loss that he felt and the sadness of war.
The whole theme of this poem is that it speaks about the independence of nature together with its unique world, untainted by humans.
This poem sort of falls into the latter category. I can see why and how some of you might enjoy this one. But for me this poem didn’t work.
This poem is sort of romantic mixed with the dark and gothic part which we all love dont we?
The writing is good as you can expect from Edgar Allan Poe.
The final line will probably send chills down your spine.
I give this poem 1 / 5
